Abstract:

Soil samples were collected from Huguangyan Geological Park in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, China. Six different soil pretreatments were used in the isolation. The soil samples were air-dried for 10 days at 28～30℃ , added with sterilized water to prepare soil suspension, and then inoculated onto the modified Gause’s medium added with 100μg/mL K2Cr2O7.Twenty three strains of different actinomycetes were isolated, among which4 strains were classified into Nocardia, 2 strains into Micromonospora,and 17 strains into Streptomyces.Antagonistic analysis showed that 9 isolated strains had anti-activities against Escherichia coli, 8 against Staphylococcus aureus and 3stranis against both E.coli and S.aureus.
